Conversion of a former local
authority building, originally consisting of administrative
offices, a cinema and a ballroom, into a premium-standard
fitness centre.
Extensions in the entrance area and at the rear
of the building, inclusion of mezzanine levels
and additional stairways and lifts. New façades
of metal and natural stone and new openings, particularly
in the area that was once a cinema, while taking
the existing façade grid into account.
The basement accommodates the staff areas and
technical facilities; the reception with bar,
changing rooms, a swimming pool, a supervised
childrens area and a bank are located on
the ground floor. The first floor houses training
areas, a sauna and massage complex with a relaxation
room and solariums. The other upper stories have
group rooms for aerobics, cycling, martial arts
and boxing and house further administrative areas.
