New construction Commercial building Lübeck Markt 1 Client: Marktplatz Lübeck GbR Design: Ingenhoven Overdiek Architekten GmbH & Co KG 2003-2004 Floor space 8,680 sq m Pre-approval planning / Realization and detailed project-planning New construction of a Commercial building directly at the Lübeck marketplace. Special focus was the compliance with regulations of the UNESCO because the inner city is part of the World Cultural Heritage. Outstanding building component is the multilateral curved metal roof. The fascades of this building with a non angular outline are mullion-transom glazings with curtain wall of brick blades. Interior design was planed in parts by the main tenant. To this building there are numerous newspaper reports published.
