Hedström 1997 - 1999 Floor space 1,696 sq m Cubic volume 5,275 cb m Realization and detailed project-planning / Assistance with allocations Object controlling / Object supervision and documentation New construction of a building with both housing and commercial purposes, located in the historic town centre of Stralsund. In order to integrate the building into the surrounding architectural fabric and to meet the conditions set out in the development regulations in force, this massive construction was given a historicizing frost-resistant shell construction of hand-made tiles, and the tiled roof was equipped with copper elements. The ground and the first floor as well as parts of the basement are at the owner’s disposal. The offices on the second floor and 3 apartment units on the third floor are let to outside parties. The spacious and light-flooded attic flat encloses two sheltered roof terraces.
